Christ United Network Expands in 2018

The Christ United Network is pleased to announce the participation and support of churches and ministries from nine additional countries.  These new ministries come from Finland, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Uganda, and Zambia.  As the cry for unity continues to ring out around the world, more and more ministries are understanding the importance and strength of being united in one body, one mind, and one purpose.

The desire of each participating church and ministry, is to see God’s church strong, vibrant and united. A church that walks in the confidence of their identity in Christ; a Church, that takes authority by the power of the Holy Spirit; a Church that will preach the Word of God boldly in season and out of season; a Church dedicated to reaching the lost; a Church, committed to selfless prayer; a Church, that God called us to be.

As ministers of the Gospel come together in a continuously visible demonstration of their commitment to true unity, things happen. First of all, there is a fundamental shift of motivation from a “my” to “ours”. There is a uniting, and strengthening spiritually that encourages and exudes confidence for the work set before each and every one. There is a confidential support system that builds up, and is non-judgmental. There is a covering of on-going prayer. And united together we eliminate competition, and replaces it with participation.

True unity will always make itself known, as it will become evident to the believer as well to the lost, the authenticity of the transformation.  Not only will there be a change in attitudes, but a visible growth that is infectious, both to the body of Christ and the local church.  A strengthening of the body’s identity in Christ, that makes motivated disciples, who share their faith openly and boldly to the glory of God.

Unity is a difficult concept for the world grasp, and some would say, an even more arduous concept for Christianity. Unity is a true hearts decision; it will be a hard road to go down, it will be difficult and it will be tested often. However, we must remember the prayer of Jesus, and the call of the Apostle Paul to the body of Christ “to be in unity”, first in spirit, and in body. Our Heavenly Father, by the power of His Spirit, and by the name above all names, Jesus Christ, will give you the supernatural wisdom, character and anointing to achieve this call.

The Christ United Network continues to grow in numbers all over the world, and all over the world, churches and ministries who are in unity continue experience a greater presence of the Lord and His supernatural growth in all areas.

The Christ Connection becomes Christ United Network

In a meeting of Advisory Board Members earlier this year, the board of the Christ Connection Fellowship, made a decision to revise the name of the organization and refine its focus.  On January 21, 2017 the Christ Connection formally became the Christ United Network. The Executive Director of the Christ Connection, Rev. Charles J. Sathmary stated that “it was important for us moving forward to remain focused on our major objectives, regarding unity in the body of Christ, and church leadership. The revision of the name, and refining of our objectives and how we connect and stay connected was of the utmost importance, and not evolving into something else”.

The Christ Connection was established in Chicago in 2005,  by Charles J. Sathmary, ” and has been a vehicle by which, church leadership meet with each other on a weekly basis, to pray, share, support, and encourage one another in the furtherance of the work of the  Gospel, and determine how they may best work together in their communities. Over the past twelve years this outreach has primarily operated in Canada and the United States , and has been expanding every year, and now has its sights on the nations of the world.

The Lord made it abundantly clear to me, His desire to see His body come into the true power of unity. A Church, that walks in the confidence of their identity in Christ; a Church, that takes authority by the power of the Holy Spirit; a Church, that bears witness to successful results, due to unwavering faith in Him and His Word; a Church that will preach the Word of God in season and out of season; a Church dedicated to reaching the lost; a Church, committed to selfless prayer; a Church, willing to put their faith in action; a Church that functions in the complete harmony of unity; a Church, that God called us to be. Charles J. Sathmary

Calls from pastors, ministers, evangelists, organizations, and other groups continue to call for, and expound on the importance of unity. Though the message is well received, it lacks the true hearts determination to see it come to pass. Ultimately, it’s doomed to failure, due to many variables including, poor participation, conditional attitudes, as well as differences in doctrinal interpretation and so on. All of which results in a divided Body that hinders the true potential, and power of a unified church working together. If something is not done soon, our western society will view Christianity, as no more than a special interest group.

But praise God, for there are believers, pastors, ministries, fellowships, and groups like Christ United Network, that have a God given desire to see the Body of Christ unite in His power. To see lives impacted, communities changed, and nations shaken by the Gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. To see creditability, and charity restored to the ministry, and to see all local churches prosper in their communities.

The Christ United Network is not a governing body, a new association or a new program, it’s about putting away those hindrances like competition, and putting our faith in action and working together. It’s odd that things haven’t changed in thousands of years. The things said by the Apostle Paul to the Corinthians that was relevant then, is what God is saying to church leadership today   “God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other, Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.”  1 Corinthians 1: 9 – 10 N.L.T.  If there is a single all-encompassing problem exhibited by the church in Corinth, it might be unbridled arrogant self-promotion and personal gain, which fragments the body; and this is true today. Though the modern church has add a number different wrinkles, it still leads to aspects that divide and alienate.  Paul had to address and correct leadership for the good of the Body, for God has said “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Ephesians 4:16 N.L.T.  Thus we are all call into the unity and harmony for the betterment and growth of the church.

“As God is in Complete unity and Harmony with Himself, so is His Church to be”                      Charles J. Sathmary
